Air Distribution Systems was founded in 1996 by four people who came together to fill a void in the Philadelphia sheet metal market. The company filled the gap left by the largest local sheet metal contractor going out of business, but ADS’s service expertise and quality carried the company’s growth by itself. The company soon entered into larger contracts with customers who were lacking a quality sheet metal firm to handle the projects, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Over the past 25 years, ADS has completed multi-million dollar projects around the Philadelphia area, and we currently employ roughly 100 union employees, depending on our workload.
Our philosophy is based in communication with customers, project managers, and foremen, and we make it a priority to stay on top of schedules, submittal turnarounds, addendums, and change orders. Throughout our years to today, we’ve been implementing new processes to better manage our organization and effectiveness.
